The lucky winners of our very first competition were Tammy & Jason Rice. The competition was for a 2 night stay at the Escarpment Retreat. It was virtually impossible to pick a winner as there were so many who deserved the prize. We were nearly at the stage of pulling an entry out of the hat. However, in the end there were a number of reasons that we decided to give the prize to Tammy and Jason, including:
- The Escarpment Retreat was the place that they chose as their first romantic getaway when the started courting.
- A number of years later they are still coming back again (and again)
- They have shared their happy experiences by introducing us to a number of their friends who are also enjoying escaping to our retreat
