Reviewed September 13, 2011Often, the use of clever angles and cropping photos can make a place look better than it is, but The Escarpment is actually as good as it looks on their website.On top of that, the breakfasts were superrb, the staff friendly and helpful, and they even have WiFi. You can sit on your balcony and watch the myriad of wildlife, sit in front of the fire in your room, and it’s an ideal base for the fantastic National Parks on Tamborine Mountain.It’s like a cross between being in the Maldives but up a mountain in a Rain Forest and Tuscany on acid. I mean that in a very good way.

Reviewed September 3, 2011Beautiful couples retreat with service second to none, a truly wonderful and romantic getaway! Carolynn did an amazing job looking after us and our room was lovely. A fireplace, spa bath and four post king size bed, what more could you want!

We stayed for two nights at this gorgeous accomodation. Each experience was beautiful, the grounds, the accomodation, the breakfast and the service. On our last morning we looked at each other and wanted to stay longer! The rain may have prevented us from having a walk through the bushland, but it enabled us to completely relax in style and comfort and rejuvenate ourselves. We will definately be back to experience this wonderful place again.

The villas and surrounding nature were absolutly beautiful. Its a great place just to spend the day relaxing if your not planning on exploring the mountian and a great to come back to a comfy bed after a day out.
The food was delicious and the staff were extreemly freindly and helpful, my husband and I will definatly be going back again.

A beautiful place for a romantic getaway. I can definately see why this is # 1 on Mt Tamborine. The seclusion and serenity are perfect and the staff accommodate every need while respecting privacy. We enjoyed fantastic dual massages. The log fire and spa bath are fantastic for relaxation and the breakfast is divine…. we will certainly be back !! Thanks Escarpment for making our 15yr anniversary memorable.
