Mt Tamborine Park with Picnic, BBQ, Playground

Parks, Picnics and Playgrounds

The mountain has numerous parks for families to explore. For those with young kids, we recommend the following parks which have designated picnic areas and children’s playgrounds.

  • Doughty Park – very near to great shopping and Deli Vino on Tamborine. Children must be                                   supervised at all times in this park, due to nearby traffic.
  • Staffsmith Park – suitable for the whole family, featuring the largest children’s playground                                      on the mountain and exercise equipment.
  • Guanaba Park – a great area for children and is ideally located near the Escarpment Retreat.
  • Rosser Park – a short 5 minute stroll from our front gates, this popular park has wood-fired                                barbecues and sheltered picnic settings .
