Where: The Vonda Youngman Community Centre, Main Street North Tamborine.
This exhibition is for the homemade crafts enthusiast because everything on display is a loving creation of the exhibitors who are generally from the local Mt Tamborine area. Folks from Brisbane and the Gold Coast travel just to see this infamous craft extravaganza and the wonderful creations that are on display.
But not just the enthusiast will appreciate this rare event. What a wonderful opportunity to browse handmade goodies that you will not see anywhere else and find that unique present (Christmas isn’t far away) for a loved one amongst the treasures available for sale.
The “Craft Extravaganza” is the brainchild of Dorothy and Lloyd Holloway who for many years ran the local craft shop. Now retired the run the extravaganza as an opportunity for local craftsperson’s to display and sell their works as well as an opportunity to raise needed funds for local community charities.
Admission to this wonderful exhibition is free and if you are in need of some refreshment after wandering around there are nibbles and drinks on site.
