North Tamborine is home to a new Supa IGA where you can source fresh local produce. A little further along, on Main Street is our local bakery with a range of wonderful breads and on the other side of the road is the local butcher with a fresh supply of meats, local fresh fruit shop and a health food store
Rosser Park is conveniently located just a few hundred metres from our front gate. Please call in at reception and we will supply you with a fire starter kit.
Alternatively, if you would like a local park with an electric barbeque, one of my favourites is Knoll Park. Continue along Main Street North Tamborine. The road narrows and becomes Knoll Road . Look for the fork and signs on the left. As well as having a beautiful hour long walk into the rain forest, it has two electric barbeques, both located near the cliff with spectacular views north across the ranges to Brisbane
Here is a great article from the Tamborine Daily Star featuring all of the Mt Tamborine park, walk, picnic and bbq areas plus tips and here is a Scenic Rim Council list as well including details on the number of seats, whether they are electic or gas, which ones have playgrounds etc. Lastly, here is a link to a Queensland Government map
