Local, Ronda Green Accepts National Position

Ronda Green is a regular contributor  on the Escarpment Retreat's Feature Article  page, posting many interesting nature and wildlife stories for our readers about the wonderful and diverse range of animals that we have on the mountain. One of Ronda's gifts is that she explains what the creatures are up to at different times of the year, where to find them and what to look for

We are delighted to advise that Ronda has been appointed Chairperson of Wildlife Tourism Australia. The nation wide organisation is focused on creating a diverse and sustainable tourism body based on wildlife and at the same time protecting that very environment that is being showcased

Within the Scenic Rim, Ronda has a proven track record for being able to master that balance. Because of her abilities and knowledge, she has been appointed the national role of taking  that model out across Australia. Well done Ronda, we we wish you every success
